Ballarat Specialist School caters for the educational, social and emotional needs of children with a mild, moderate and complex intellectual disability. Students are aged between 3 and 18. Class sizes are small and allow for the individual needs of each child to be met. We have a therapy team that offers students speech, physio or occupational therapy if required. We also have a full time nurse, chaplain and school psychologist to cater for the physical and emotional needs of our students. Our staff are dedicated to the individual education of each child and aims to achieve personal success together. Our programs are designed to increase the level of independence for all of our students so that they can prosper within their community once they have finished their education.
